Our Weekend

This weekend we made a very QUICK trip home, home is near Fort Worth, TX!  My nephew was home after his graduation from Marine boot camp, *Aim High*, Ryan!!!  Oh, that is the Air Force, *Semper Fi*, that's you!!  Anyway, while away a his basic training, he missed his high school graduation. He finished high school early. He also turned 19! So, there was a lot to celebrate this weekend!! We were thrilled to see him again!!! Congrats!!! You're AWESOME!!!!
My kids were the cutest ones, there! lol
Kaylea also got a couple of gifts because today is her 8th BIRTHDAY!!!!  I'm sharing a few pictures now and will add more after her celebration this evening. I did take her to a cute store in the mall on Sunday, called *Sweet & Sassy*  She got her hair shampooed, cut & styled.  Also, a mini mani and mini pedi. She was be-u-ti-ful for the party!! The boys enjoyed dancing on the *Cat Walk* and trying on crowns and wands!!

Enjoy!!!

Finally!!

We FINALLY got a date for Rubea's detether surgery!!
We were told on June 12th that she needed it, *sooner rather than later*. It only took 2.5 months to get the date! So, on Sept 15th, she will FINALLY get the surgery she needs. We are unsure of how it will all play out right now, but hopefully we'll get some more answers soon! The reason this surgery is so important is because she is awaiting a much bigger surgery, Titanium Ribs! The curvature in her spine is 74ยบ so she needs the Titanium Ribs placed to help straighten her back. The detether surgery may help her spine somewhat, too! Please keep her in your prayers. She is so little :-)

WOW!!!

My friend has been waiting for over 100 days for her LOA. She had asked for prayers. Last night as I was thinking about how that baby deserved to come home, NOW, I was overwhelmed with a sense of peace and a sense of knowing that they would get their LOA today!  I just got an email from her and they now have their LOA!  How AWESOME is that?  How AWESOME is HE??? We serve a very FAITHFUL Lord.  I am so thankful to know that baby C. is coming home....it's been a very long wait.

Blessings

New Wheels

The little girls FINALLY got their new wheels yesterday! These were ordered back in February!!(Long story)  Both girls really like them. Rubea is so much happier being UP! She rides around like a BIG GIRL!! She can even push herself if she is not on the carpet. I'm thrilled she is getting some independence. I think she is, too! She was rolling herself around the kitchen this morning. I bet she'll be all over the house in no time. They both have trays, so they can sit in them and play, color, eat, etc.
(I'll post pics as soon as I find my cord)
